Trains are BACK!
Welcome back and come ride a train on the Southern Michigan Railroad.
We are open for Summer Service, at limited capacity with masks REQUIRED on the train (due to county health department and TSA rules; we can't do anything about it.) You can also book trains during the Clinton Fall Festival, or our famous Fall Color Tours.
It's been a long road. But we at SMRS are happy to be BACK!
Some customers pass up a chance to ride in the summer, and wait until Fall Color Tour tickets become available. We don't advise that this year. If we've learned anything since March 2020, it's that the virus has a way of coming back - with Michigan having four waves so far. We are obliged to follow county health department, FRA and TSA rules. When the parentopportunity comes to enjoy a train ride, please don't miss it!
